STRENGTH
Strength is card 8 of the Major Arcana, often depicted by a figure with a lion, and is astrologically connected to Leo. When we let ourselves fully embody Strength, we integrate both fire and water, courage and vulnerability. Embodying Strength means working towards the courageous act of pure self-acceptance—giving ourselves permission to express conflict, sulk in our feelings, shout love, be brave. All without shame or guilt.
It means never denying our gifts, truths, feelings, identities, desires. And by aligning our actions with what our heart and intuition tells us, we have the capacity to extend Strength to others. I am obsessed with Ba’s interpretation of Strength with Hobi’s duality; his ability to be such a nurturing and loyal figure for the group, while deeply feeling and expressing his fears and pain. This integration of both only fuels his passionate and energetic creativity!

It’s incredibly intuitive that Hoseok would be the card of Strength. It’s really all too obvious to me. From his literal body control in his great skill of dance to his unshakable fortitude.
I think of him being the only member to walk completely away from the group upon their debut. I think of the full length track Blue Side. His beautiful contagious energy, his beaming heart shaped smile, his love, his poetry.
Clad in Red & Blue, in tribute to his stark dualism, to balance strength. The lioness – because they’re the true fighters and caretakers. Lastly surrounded by his bright, bubbly buttercups. 🌱
