This is a dive into the astrology of that artwork, and what it might reveal about the colors, textures and stories Namjoon has chosen to offer us.

A melancholy and reflective album, it was largely made up of songs that he began writing throughout 2016, a period of time that most ARMYs know was extremely difficult for the members of BTS. RM in particular has spoken quite openly about the heavy depression he experienced that year and still struggles with to this day.

Happy 5 years and anniversary to Love Yourself: Her, the first in BTS’ series of LY albums! This album was a turning point for BTS in some ways – the start of a new arc in their story, and sonic changes in their music.

HBD Namjoon, writing about our leader during a Pisces full moon is definitely quite on brand. This dreamy, futuristic energy definitely fits the vibe for what Namjoon represents. I’ve been thinking a lot about how Joon is very much an anti-idol, I feel like the title “idol” cannot contain all that he brings to this world (much like air), that can be said for many others but I feel like he pursues art so tenaciously that its so integral to him as a person.
TAURUS SEASON
Happy Taurus season! With the sun moving through this Venusian fixed earth sign we’re thinking about processes of growth. Specifically, what they feel like. The ease and pleasure of a slow stretch, seeing seedlings break out of the soul, the unfurling of a rose bud, feeling a song’s bass vibrating through your body. There’s a steadiness about Taurus that is rooted in the body, in the material of being alive. Taurus season teaches us about being meticulous without gripping; careful about our desires while giving them space.
